Handling of Personal Information

Our Company shall handle customers’ personal information as described below paying due care to the management thereof.

  • 1.Personal Information Protection Administrator
    The Company shall appoint the following person to be the Personal Information Protection Administrator to implement measures to ensure our customers’ personal information is managed appropriately and securely and prevent and rectify external unauthorized access to personal information as well as prevent and rectify the loss, destruction, tampering with and leakage, etc. thereof.

  • 2.Purpose of Use of Personal Information
    The Company shall obtain personal information for the purposes given below.

    • To carry out educational and training activities requested for by our customers
    • To manage the schedules of instructors engaged to perform educational and training activities
    • To select employee applicants
    • To carry out employee human resource, labor relations and health management
    • To respond to inquiries from customers
    • To send materials to customers requesting materials
    • To contact customers who have applied for our Company’s seminars to confirm the details of their application
    • To arrange airline tickets and book accommodation on behalf of customers
    • To manage the schedules of coaches and counselors engaged to perform educational services and manage the bookings of customers (Please note, the name registered may be published on our Company’s service booking page, etc.)
    • To carry out surveys and research to enable us to provide better services
    • To contact customers who have applied for our company’s services to confirm the details of their application
    • To settle payment for our Company’s services
    • To provide our Company’s e-learning services
  • 3.Provision of Personal Information
    Except in the following cases, our Company shall never provide personal information to third parties.

    • If the consent of the customer has been obtained
    • If required pursuant to laws and regulations, etc.
    • If consigning our services to our business consignees. In this case, personal information shall be provided in accordance with the “Consignment of Personal Information”.
  • 4.Consignment of Personal Information
    The Company consigns part of our services related to business operations to outside parties in order to provide better services to our customers. When doing so, personal information may be deposited with a business consignee. In this case, we shall ensure such consignee manages the personal information appropriately by carefully selecting a consignee based on the condition that such consignee has established and implemented a management system capable of appropriately protecting personal information and establishing in written agreements, etc. matters required to prevent customers’ personal information being leaked such as the appropriate management and the maintaining of confidentiality of personal information.

  • 5.Personal Information Data
    The Company shall promptly handle all requests from customers for disclosure, correction, addition or deletion of details, notice of purpose of use, erasure and suspension of provision to third parties (hereinafter “Disclosure, Etc.”) pertaining to personal information which we are authorized to handle as retained personal data if such request is made by the customer him/herself.

  • 6.Disclosure, Etc. of Retained Personal Data
    The Company shall Disclose, Etc. retained personal data to the extent deemed reasonable if a request therefor is made by a customer him/herself upon verifying the identity of such customer. Provided, however, this shall not apply if we determine that this may be detrimental to the life, body or property of another customer or that this may significantly obstruct the performance of our business. We shall handle the Disclosure, Etc. of retained personal data in accordance with any provisions existing in laws and regulations, etc.

  • 7.Identity Verification
    The Company shall verify the identity of a customer by the following methods.

    • 1. Verify identity by dialing the telephone number already provided by the customer.
    • 2. Verify identity by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address already provided by the customer and having the customer reply thereto.
    • 3. Verify identity by verifying the customer’s name, address, telephone number and date of birth when carrying out the procedure.
    • When verifying the identity of an agent, we shall request such agent to come into the company in person and present his/her driver’s license or passport.
  • 8.Procedures for Handling Requests for Disclosure, Etc.
    Upon verifying the identity of a customer, the Company shall mail the customer a “Personal Information Disclosure, Etc. Request” in the post. If a customer returns the “Personal Information Disclosure, Etc. Request”, we will promptly respond to the request, etc. without delay. We will respond by telephone or respond to the contents of the request in writing by post. Please note that we do not charge a fee for Disclosure, Etc. Requests.
